Madame Loyal hits Marseille

🎪 Madame Loyal Marseille – A Funktion-One Sound Experience

Madame Loyal Marseille is a vibrant indoor festival blending electronic music with circus-themed performances to create a truly unique and immersive atmosphere. Renowned for its spectacular production values, the event proudly features a full Funktion-One sound system to deliver an exceptional auditory experience.

Funktion-One Sound System at Madame Loyal Marseille

At the November 2024 edition held at Parc Chanot, Madame Loyal presented France’s largest deployment of the Funktion-One Vero VX system. The main stage, located within the Grand Palais, was equipped with a Vero VX rig, supported by a formidable 21-unit F124 cardioid bass array, Evolution X in-fills for detailed coverage, and PSM318 DJ monitors for precise booth sound.

Meanwhile, the second stage, housed in the Palais de l’Europe, utilised a Funktion-One Evo 7T system, complete with a 14-unit F124 cardioid bass array and PSM318 monitors. The sound design was meticulously crafted to suit the acoustics of the venue, ensuring outstanding clarity, deep and controlled bass, and minimal sound leakage beyond the site.

This careful attention to sonic detail allowed both artists and audiences to enjoy an extraordinarily immersive experience, with every performance — from hard-hitting techno to soaring live sets — delivered with precision and impact.

April 2025 Edition and Beyond

The Marseille edition originally scheduled for 11–12 April 2025 was poised to continue this tradition at Parc Chanot, featuring 20,000 square metres of dancefloors, collaborations with collectives such as KAHOS (Caisson Gauche), and a diverse line-up including Cassius, NTO, Miss K8, Nico Moreno, and Hilight Tribe. Circus acts, funfair attractions, food trucks, bars, and chill-out zones were all part of the grand design.

However, with that chapter now concluded, Madame Loyal looks ahead to its next spectacular gathering in Bordeaux — carrying forward its signature atmosphere and, of course, the unmistakable sound of Funktion-One.
