Funktion One's Projection software

Funktion One has announced the release of an Alpha version of their Projection software, introducing advanced bass array modeling capabilities.

This update represents a major innovation, moving beyond traditional point source modeling to incorporate full wave physics. The new method accounts for complex acoustic phenomena, including reflection, diffraction, and shadowing/occlusion. The development process required over 250,000 lines of code, highlighting the depth of the technical effort. Although calculations are slightly slower due to the increased complexity, the improved accuracy significantly enhances modeling precision.

This release is a key milestone in Funktion One’s ongoing development of Projection, with additional updates and refinements planned in the months ahead.

As existing users of Projection will know, arrays are designed to be quick and precise to specify and deploy within the software's planning environment. Critical data, including load calculations, dimensions, and safety considerations, is provided in real time, ensuring informed decision-making throughout the process.
