Evo2 First Outings

Every summer, Verde Beach, a festive restaurant and private beach in Ramatuelle, becomes one of the best places to listen to electronic music. The venue has hosted DJs such as Black Coffee, Marco Carola, and Tiësto. In the summer of 2024, the establishment called upon LiveMusic, a company based in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, to handle the sound for two special events featuring DJs Argy (July 21) and Artbat (August 4).

"The Verde Beach team trusts us," says Johann Pasdeloup, manager of LiveMusic. "We suggested installing a Funktion-One Evo 2 sound system at the venue. We've been working with Chris Hawkes from Solution One for about ten years. We always love trying out the latest innovations he introduces and letting our clients benefit from them."

Powered by the Funktion-One Evo 2 sound system, both events were a massive success. Johann Pasdeloup was particularly impressed by the Evo 2’s long-range capability: "The sound system reaches the back of the restaurant, and the high frequencies remain beautifully defined. It's a compact product, and I appreciated its overall efficiency." This enthusiasm is shared by Sébastien Jovys, sound engineer at LiveMusic: "The new Evo 2 is incredible. We didn’t expect such performance from speakers of this size."

The tests were equally well-received by the artists. "The DJs felt the sound system was impactful and had a very good output," says Johann Pasdeloup, concluding, "I really like this new Evo 2 sound system. I’ll be recommending it to other venues very soon!"
